Storms on the Way

The weather has taken a turn for the worse. It was very windy and wet last night, the sound of the rain could be heard outside and drumming on the windows. The front door was shaking and we were worried that the wind would open the door. Alfie was barking at it, not understanding what the noise was. We have been warned (on the television weather forecast on B.B.C. television.) that over the next week the weather is going to get worse and by the end of this week we can expect high winds and even snow. They have already had snow in parts of Scotland and the north of England, particularly Yorkshire.
