Sunny and Warm. Spring is here.

Well, it makes a really great change to be able to report that it's sunny and warm, as I write this at 8.15 a.m. Makes a change to have no rain and no strong wind. Let's just hope it stays that way for the next couple of days.

Someone has come out to look at the car. He does a mobile repair service which means he would be able to sort out the car's clutch on our front drive without us having to drive to a workshop. The problem may be something to do with the clutch cable, which is what I thought it might be, as there is far too much play when you put your foot on the clutch cable. If it's not that it could be the entire clutch itself which would be a far more difficult job to fix and cost a good deal more so he is going to cost the parts and labour for both jobs and then let me know sometime today. It means that it will have to wait until we are paid at the end of the month. Another two weeks without the car but we seem to be able to manage without. Fortunately the Academy is merely a walk away. We have been ordering our weekly shop from Sainsbury's on-line, which is far more convenient anyway from going to the supermarket and trudging around ourselves. It comes already and waiting in nice bags so all you have to do is put it away in the cupboards or fridge!
