Not a great deal to discuss in this blog post. We're ready for Christmas. Just myself and Carol, as it has been for the past few years. We have our fridge well and truly stocked with food for the festive period. It's just as well as I don't intend going to any of the major supermarkets as they are likely to be crammed with last-minute shoppers. There's this crazy, almost what I'd call a siege mentality that grabs people, the very idea that they're going to run out of sausage rolls, mince pies or wrapping paper, or they've forgotten to buy Great Aunt Ethel or some long-lost relation who just happens to turn up out of the blue and needs pair of socks or a set of matching oven gloves and egg whisk so they have to rush out and scour the aisles in Morrison's for such an item. The shops will be open again on Boxing Day and most of what has been bought as presents at over-inflated prices will then be sold at half price or less.
So I'm going to leave off blogging for a couple of days at least, so to my loyal followers on here I'll say adieu and see you in a few days time. But do have a super Christmas but don't eat too many mince pies!
