Oh dear! This is getting really stupid. I told you that I'd had a couple of letters from my doctor's surgery informing me that I ought to make an appointment to go to their heart clinic (which I have done.) Now they're writing to me to say I need to have yet another blood test in a month's time. I'll be in the surgery at 9 a.m. on Monday. Couldn't the doctor have told me then to make such an appointment? Do I need my hand holding and told what to do? The nanny state gone nuts if you ask me. What a waste of resources- the cost of the paper, envelope and the stamp on the envelope and the fact that I live so close to the surgery. Well, let's just say it's keeping someone busy in an office somewhere!
