Swimming and Shopping

It's been a bright and sunny day. We didn't hesitate to go for an early-morning swim at D.W. Fitness and were there at 8 and found the place virtually empty. Nice to swim without a lot of noise. Unfortunately the spas weren't in operation, one being empty. I did spend around 10 minutes in the steam room (or 'hot cupboards' as I call it. We returned home and had breakfast and then drove over to Aldi at Buckingham to do our weekly shopping. Great that you can do your shopping in record time compared to, say, Morrison's, Sainsbury's, Tesco or Asda. Also around half the price, too. There may not be the range of items, but you aren't wasting deciding on which particular brand of, say, crisps or baked beans, which makes it easier. They have a checkout system whereby they scan all you groceries into your trolley and once you've paid you load it into your bags and then leave which seems to cut the queuing time considerably.
