Milton Keynes under snow

It's been snowing continuously all afternoon. As I write this post (4.10 p.m.) and I look out of the window of this room it's getting gradually darker and darker and the garden is several inches under snow. It is still snowing, but not as heavily as it was earlier. The car, which is parked on the drive at the front of the house, has a thick blanket of the white stuff on it's roof and bonnet. By the morning we are going to need a shovel to clear the drive and a snow plough to get out of this estate. The whole of Milton Keynes appears to have completely disappeared under snow. I'm wondering if there are going to be any gritters on the road tonight or, indeed, any snow ploughs clearing the major roads around here. It's as well we don't need to go anywhere important in the car tomorrow.
